FIRST CLASS DIVER

First Class Diver grade is achieved by attending two Skill Development Courses (SDC's) during which the diver further will increase their personal, group diving and rescue skills.

The diver must be a member of both the BS-AC and Peterborough Sub-Aqua Club for insurance purposes.

	Max Depth: 40M
	Buddy: Any grade

Rugged exit - Malta

The training for this grade includes:

2 Mandatory SDC's

	BSAC Diver Rescue Award
	BSAC Diver Cox'n Award

The student will also have to pass

	A Theory Test
	A Practical Examination

The student will also participate in 100 additional dives after gaining Advanced Diver to become more familiar with the techniques they are learning.

Equipment:

All trainees are expected to acquire their own full range of personal diving equipment.

Other equipment can be provided by the club until the course is completed.
